Cancelling a Subscription

Members can cancel their recurring payment subscription from the My Groups tab:

1. Find the group card.
2. Click Cancel Subscription.
3. A confirmation dialog asks: “Are you sure you want to cancel your subscription for [group name]?”
4. Click Yes, Cancel.

What Happens After Cancelling

• The subscription is cancelled at the payment gateway (Stripe, Paystack, etc.).
• No further automatic payments will be charged.
• The member’s subscription record is marked as Cancelled.
• The member stays in the group until the admin removes them manually — this gives the admin a chance to sort out next steps.
